Glass Video Gallery 20th Anniversary
03 December 2010
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his Glass Video Gallery, Bernard Tschumi lectures at the Forum Images Hereplein in Groningen in the Netherlands, just across from the repurposed gallery, on the materialization of concepts in architecture. The Pavilion, originally intended to display video art, was built in 1990 as a part of the exhibition “What a Wonderful World” featuring public architecture installations by Rem Koolhaas, Zaha Hadid, Peter Eisenman, and Coop Himmelblau. The Gallery, since renamed the Tschumipaviljoen, has become a part of the permanent collection of the Groninger Museum, and is now a venue for contemporary art installations. Visit Site.
